Evacuation diagrams are a mandatory requirement under AS 3745-2010. Failure to display compliant diagrams is a direct breach of WHS legislation and can void insurance cover.
The 5-Year Expiry Rule
AS 3745 diagrams MUST be reviewed every 5 years. If your diagrams were installed prior to 2021, they are legally expired and represent a critical compliance defect.
Orientation Accuracy
Diagrams must be oriented to the specific location of the user ("You Are Here"). Generic, incorrectly oriented maps are non-compliant and dangerous during an emergency.
